Calendar
Last Autumn
A performance of Michael Hersch's work Last Autumn (2008) for horn and cello, performed by Stephen Craigen and Andrew Power. The work is a 2-hour long duet, where endurance becomes both a physical reality and an existential state.
Surgery #1
The first in our series of concerts that examines the concert format from a scientific perspective, with pieces that engage with acoustic phenomena, the body and surgical precision.
Surgery #2
Invasive surgical procedures stand in contrast to physical caresses in a programme that reflects on agency, human connection and physicality.
Desire Paths
Chamber music for saxophones, clarinets, piano, accordion and electronics. In Desire Paths, many contrasting paths coexist simultaneously: microtonality, deconstructivism inspired by video games and internet culture, excavations of unusual timbral combinations, and mutated salsa music, spatialised through eight loudspeakers.
