Continuing our exploration of the human body from various perspectives. Invasive surgical procedures stand in contrast to physical caresses in a programme that reflects on agency, human connection and physicality.

An endoscopic camera explores an the skeleton of an accordion. Microphones capture the sound of an embrace mediated by aluminium foil. Exclusive use of facial expressions creates an alternative interpretation of seminal classical repertoire. As the centrepiece of the concert, Ear Transplant has commissioned a new large-scale work by the Danish composer Jeppe Ernst. Hymne: Introitus is a piece composed for hands, tongue, touch and steps and is written for one female and three male musicians. The piece consists of six songs each of a three minute duration and is divided into two parts.
