  • Antonios Akrivopoulos is a flutist born in Thessaloniki in 1999. He moved to Czechia to pursue his Bachelor’s degree at Janáček’s Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, under the guidance of František Kantor. Later he moved to Copenhagen for his Master’s degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Music under the mentorship of Ulla Miilmann. He is currently studying with Rune Most for his Advanced Post Graduate degree in Odense. Now based in Copenhagen, Antonios is focusing on contemporary music performance and chamber music. In his creative work he aims to collaborate with composers and expand the contemporary flute repertoire. As well as finding new ways of sonic and visual expression of said music. As a soloist he offers a high caliber performance of most flute repertoire available, and loves to perform more conventional concert formats as well. Antonios is part of the multidisciplinary art ensemble ‘’One Time Only’’ of which he is also a founding member. He has collaborated with orchestras and ensembles like Current Resonance and K!ART, DRSO, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Odense Symphonic Orchestra, and performed in festivals including Klang, MINU and Pulsar festival.

    Ascent

  • I’m a classical pianist from Copenhagen and a 2024 soloist graduate of the Danish National Academy of Music. My musical interests span a wide range of styles and concert formats, and I perform both as a soloist and chamber musician. As a solo performer I am especially drawn to music from the 20th century and onwards, my favourites being Maurice Ravel and Ned Rorem. I like blending classical traditions with contemporary music, creating programs that connect the old with the new. I enjoy reimagining the concert experience, whether through improvisation, theatrical performances or innovative programming. My collaborations include working with composers, symphony orchestras, and a variety of chamber ensembles. Two examples of my current projects are One Time Only—an experimental, multidisciplinary ensemble—and Trio Sylvia, a trio that performs romantic and contemporary repertoire with a flair for poetry and drama.

    Ascent

  • I am a Greek percussionist based in Copenhagen. I like to challenge my limits on stage by performing works that give me the chance to further explore my body, my voice and the growing world of percussion instruments. I believe in the power of performance as communication and always explore the connections it has the potential to create. I am excited to join Ear Transplant and collaborate with both composers and a wonderful team of performers.

    HIT THINGS!

  • I am a clarinetist, performer and composer based in Copenhagen. Most of my works are rooted in text, both my own and other people’s. I use music very much as a way of reimagining or interpreting the worlds I access through words and language.

Besides playing soprano and bass clarinet, I often use my voice and various objects in performances.

    HIT THINGS!

  • Stine Benjaminsen is a classically trained recorder player from Denmark. Her performances consist of a wide variety of early music, improvisation and contemporary music. Stine is greatly fascinated by the unifying link between early music and contemporary music. She has toured in Denmark, Germany, Iceland and the Faroe Islands performing with various ensembles. All parts of Stine’s performances are equally important and she prioritizes the cohesion between music, time and place, the performers and their audience.

She plays in multiple projects such as Cake of Day, Duo Bragi and her solo project RecorderRecorder
