Antonios Akrivopoulos is a flutist born in Thessaloniki in 1999. He moved to Czechia to pursue his Bachelor’s degree at Janáček’s Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, under the guidance of František Kantor. Later he moved to Copenhagen for his Master’s degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Music under the mentorship of Ulla Miilmann. He is currently studying with Rune Most for his Advanced Post Graduate degree in Odense.
Now based in Copenhagen, Antonios is focusing on contemporary music performance and chamber music. In his creative work he aims to collaborate with composers and expand the contemporary flute repertoire. As well as finding new ways of sonic and visual expression of said music. As a soloist he offers a high caliber performance of most flute repertoire available, and loves to perform more conventional concert formats as well.
Antonios is part of the multidisciplinary art ensemble ‘’One Time Only’’ of which he is also a founding member. He has collaborated with orchestras and ensembles like Current Resonance and K!ART, DRSO, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Odense Symphonic Orchestra, and performed in festivals including Klang, MINU and Pulsar festival.

I’m a classical pianist from Copenhagen and a 2024 soloist graduate of the Danish National Academy of Music. My musical interests span a wide range of styles and concert formats, and I perform both as a soloist and chamber musician. As a solo performer I am especially drawn to music from the 20th century and onwards, my favourites being Maurice Ravel and Ned Rorem. I like blending classical traditions with contemporary music, creating programs that connect the old with the new. I enjoy reimagining the concert experience, whether through improvisation, theatrical performances or innovative programming. My collaborations include working with composers, symphony orchestras, and a variety of chamber ensembles. Two examples of my current projects are One Time Only—an experimental, multidisciplinary ensemble—and Trio Sylvia, a trio that performs romantic and contemporary repertoire with a flair for poetry and drama.

I am a Greek percussionist based in Copenhagen. I like to challenge my limits on stage by performing works that give me the chance to further explore my body, my voice and the growing world of percussion instruments. I believe in the power of performance as communication and always explore the connections it has the potential to create. I am excited to join Ear Transplant and collaborate with both composers and a wonderful team of performers.

Danish-German tenor and composer. Born in Odense, Denmark, I grew up in Germany, and was a member of St. Thomas Boys Choir in Leipzig. I studied composition at HfMDK Frankfurt am Main and hold a BA in singing from HfM ‘Hanns Eisler’ Berlin, and an MA from the Royal Danish Academy of Music. I attended the Opera Academy at the Royal Danish Opera, and have sung in several productions at the house. As a composer, I’m interested in staging ideas through musical means, often by contextualizing materials from different realms. As a singer, I’m especially interested in how language and meaning form expression. My debut album as a composer, ‘The Best Version of Myself’, co-produced by Deutschlandfunk Kultur, was released on the Austrian label col legno in 2021.

I am a clarinetist, performer and composer based in Copenhagen. Most of my works are rooted in text, both my own and other people’s. I use music very much as a way of reimagining or interpreting the worlds I access through words and language.
Besides playing soprano and bass clarinet, I often use my voice and various objects in performances.

I was born on an Island in the Nordic part of Denmark and started to play the violin at the age of 8. Ever since, I have felt a profound need to explore my instrument and sounds that come from nature and/or human beings. I’m fascinated about musical moments that are created here and now and about the work of today’s composers, where I - as a performer - feel enriched with every single new work I get to premiere and work on closely with the composer themselves. I’m very happy to join Ear Transplant, where I will contribute by playing violin, viola, hardanger fiddle, objects as well as singing.

I am a British horn player and conductor currently based in Copenhagen. I enjoy a wide variety of challenges in my work, from the symphony orchestra where the horn is typically found, to chamber music and sinfonietta style ensembles, playing music both old and new. I have performed as guest principal horn with orchestras both in the UK and Denmark, and currently hold the horn position with Randers Kammerorkester, where we have played several commissions by Danish composers written for our 'dectet' of strings and wind quintet. As a conductor, I have premiered new works by students at the University of Cambridge and enjoy the process of bringing new music to life, both as a director and performer.

I’m a Danish-Vietnamese oboist currently based in Copenhagen. I’ve studied at The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus and Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon and The Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen. I’ve played with orchestras such as Copenhagen Philharmonic, The Royal Danish Orchestra, and Aalborg Symphony Orchestra. I’m also an active member of Aarhus Chamber Orchestra, where the repertoire spans from classical pieces to pieces written by contemporary composers.
Whether it’s the orchestra or small ensembles I love the chamber music aspect of playing together, listening to each other and creating moments together. I’m very fond of playing both traditional classical pieces and contemporary pieces that explore the boundaries of music and performance art. I’m happy to join Ear Transplant as one of their pool of musicians and I’m looking forward to work together.
